My tailored tutoring services
At SB Tutoring, I offer a diverse range of specialised services, meticulously crafted to cater to your unique educational requirements. My methodology is rooted in a deep understanding of individual needs, ensuring I deliver highly effective, bespoke and practical learning solutions, both in- person and online.
Italian tuition
Drawing on my Oxford University BA Hons degree in Italian and French, I offer Italian tuition to both children and adults of all levels. Each lesson is tailored to the goals and level of the individual learner. I teach face to face and online in either Zoom or Teams.
Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL Tuition)
I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and as an experienced educator I tailor my TEFL lessons to your goals. I can support you with any exam preparations, integration into the UK and business English. I teach both face to face and online in either Zoom or Teams.
Exam preparation & technique
Equip yourself with the strategies and confidence needed to excel in exams.
I can support you with preparation for Italian GCSE, A level or Italian citizenship exams.
My TEFL lessons can prepare you for the English proficiency exam (B1 English level) required for British citizenship or for Cambridge IELTS exams.
I focus on exam techniques for English KS2 SATS papers and entrance exams/ scholarship exams to Independent schools.
Primary school tutoring
Building strong foundations is key. With a decade of primary school experience, my primary school tutoring focuses on literacy (reading, phonics, spelling and writing) and essential learning skills. I provide a supportive environment for young learners to thrive and grow in confidence. I have extensive experience supporting neurodiverse learners and an armoury of successful strategies that I employ to make learning engaging and stimulating.
